vs

Interakt

BotSync vs Interakt

Shopify-friendly D2C WhatsApp tool

Interakt was acquired by Haptik (Jio) and has a strong following among Shopify D2C brands. The Shopify connector is one of the cleanest in the category, and the broadcast + segment workflows are mature.

Where Interakt wins

  • Best-in-class Shopify catalog and order-event integration
  • Solid 'reach via WhatsApp Ads' workflow with Meta
  • Established brand among D2C sellers in India
  • Quick-replies + catalog product cards work out of the box

Where BotSync wins

  • Account-level AI agent with safe-fact guard — Interakt's AI is bolted on, BotSync's is the core product
  • Bookings module with Google Calendar sync (Interakt doesn't have one)
  • Honest per-conversation pricing without BSP markup
  • Per-workspace pipeline stages and CRM fields — Interakt's CRM is one shape for everyone
  • Approval-first AI mode where you review every reply before send

Pick Interakt if

If you sell on Shopify and your main need is catalog-aware DMs + IG-ad-replies, Interakt's tooling is well-trodden.

Pick BotSync if

If you need a real AI agent, CRM-native pipeline, and you're tired of paying a markup over Meta's rates.

vs

WATI

BotSync vs WATI

No-code chatbot builder + shared inbox

WATI is the oldest player in this list — APAC presence, large customer base, mature shared inbox, and a no-code flow builder that’s become a genre standard. They’ve been adding AI features over the last 18 months.

Where WATI wins

  • Mature, stable no-code flow builder with broad node library
  • Solid shared inbox with role-based access controls
  • Strong agent productivity features (canned responses, internal notes)
  • Long history — fewer rough edges than newer entrants

Where BotSync wins

  • AI agent trained per-account, with citations and refusal-to-invent — WATI’s AI is generic per-customer
  • Forms with explicit CRM field mapping — WATI’s form story is weaker
  • Bookings + no-show recovery built in
  • Live funnel and per-agent SLA analytics — WATI’s analytics is delivery-heavy
  • Indian Cloud-API-direct path with no BSP markup

Pick WATI if

If you want a stable, broad-stroke chatbot tool and your main use case is a structured flow that occasionally hands off to a human.

Pick BotSync if

If qualification, AI accountability, and a real CRM model matter more than chatbot flow polish.

vs

DoubleTick

BotSync vs DoubleTick

Simple, broadcast-led WhatsApp tool

DoubleTick is the easy-onboarding entrant in the category. Friendly UI, fast setup, broadcast-first positioning. Popular with smaller teams that want WhatsApp marketing without learning a flow builder.

Where DoubleTick wins

  • Genuinely simple onboarding — usable on day one
  • Friendly UI for non-technical operators
  • Reasonable broadcasting workflow for small lists
  • Lower commitment for SMBs just dipping into WhatsApp marketing

Where BotSync wins

  • Real AI agent (not a script tree) with KB and citations
  • Full CRM model — pipeline, stages, custom fields, bookings, tasks
  • Multi-agent inbox with routing rules and per-agent SLAs
  • Visual flow builder with 20+ node types and step-debugger
  • Analytics covering source attribution, AI vs human, team SLAs

Pick DoubleTick if

If you want to send 1-2 WhatsApp campaigns a month and don’t need a CRM, inbox, or AI — DoubleTick is fine as a starting point.

Pick BotSync if

If you’re running a real sales motion on WhatsApp and you outgrew ‘just broadcasts’ six months ago.

Pricing reality

What you actually pay

Two costs always: a platform subscription, plus Meta's per-conversation rates. Most competitors mark up Meta's rate quietly on top.

BotSync pricing

  • Flat platform subscription

See /pricing for current Starter / Pro / Max

  • Zero markup over Meta's rates

You pay Meta directly on the Cloud API number you own

  • No per-agent seat tax

Add team members at the plan's seat cap

  • 14-day free trial · no card needed

    Real product, all features unlocked

Watch for these in competitor pricing

  • Per-message markup over Meta

    20–50% typical with BSPs

  • Per-agent seat fees that scale

    ₹999/agent/month adds up fast

  • ‘Setup fees’

    One-time onboarding charges of ₹5k–₹25k

  • Tiered AI usage caps

The AI you paid for cuts off mid-month

Math example:10,000 marketing conversations/month at Meta's ₹0.73 rate = ₹7,300 to Meta. A competitor adding 30% markup quietly collects another ₹2,190/month — ₹26,280/year on top of their subscription. Worth asking before you sign.

Migration

Switching is a week, not a quarter

If you're moving from Interakt, WATI, or DoubleTick — our onboarding team does the heavy lifting. Your WABA, your number, your templates, your customers, your history.

01

Audit your current setup

We help you list templates, segments, flows, and agent routing. Most teams find ~30% of templates are unused and worth retiring during the move.

02

Move the WABA

Cloud API numbers are easy to move if you own the Meta Business Manager. We handle the templates and webhook re-registration.

03

Import customers + history

CSV import of customers, tags, custom fields, and stage. Conversation history bulk-imported where the export supports it (most do).

04

Train Aurora, ship in a week

Upload your KB, configure your AI agent, and you're live. Most teams complete the move in 5–7 working days.

FAQ

Common questions about switching

Why should I trust your comparison — you're selling BotSync?+

Fair point. We've tried to be specific: where competitors win, we said so. Where they don't, we explained what's missing in functional terms. If anything on this page is materially wrong, email us — we'll fix it. The page is dated for that reason.

Can I move my WhatsApp number from Interakt / WATI / DoubleTick to BotSync?+

Yes — if you own your Meta Business Manager (most teams do), the Cloud API number can be re-pointed to BotSync's app credentials. If the BSP owns the Business Manager, the move is harder and may need their cooperation. Our onboarding team will tell you which case you're in.

Do I lose conversation history when I migrate?+

Recent conversation history can be bulk-imported from most competitor exports — typically the last 90 days of message text. Older history is preserved as a flat archive but not always interactive in the inbox. We're explicit about what survives the move before you commit.

What about my templates — do they have to be re-approved?+

Templates are owned by your WABA (WhatsApp Business Account), not by the tool. If your WABA stays the same, your approved templates come with you. Only the variable mappings inside BotSync need re-setup, which we handle.

How is your pricing different — concretely?+

We charge a flat subscription (see /pricing). We don't add a markup on top of Meta's per-conversation rates — you pay Meta directly. No per-agent seat fees, no setup charges, no AI usage caps. The pricing comparison section above shows the math example.

Can I run BotSync in parallel with my current tool during evaluation?+

Yes. A second BotSync workspace can be set up on a separate test WABA number. Evaluate side-by-side for a week, see which one your team prefers, then move the real number when you're confident.

What if I find a competitor feature that BotSync doesn't have?+

Two paths. (1) If it's on our roadmap, we'll tell you the ETA honestly. (2) If it isn't, we'll point you back at the competitor — the goal is the right tool for your team, not a forced fit. We'd rather lose the deal than oversell.

Try it side-by-side · no contract

The best comparison is a parallel trial

Spin up a BotSync workspace alongside whatever you're using today. 14-day free trial. Your team will know within a week whether to switch.
